Emergence of the Coming Antichrist New World Order - ArticleCity.com
by: Reece Woodstock
Even though the fascination with the identity of the Antichrist has been a major aspect of bible prophecy for hundreds of years, the twentieth and twenty first century has witnessed more focus on the end time Antichrist debate more than any other time primarily because the rise of the internet has created more exposure and access to information related to the development of the new world order than at any other time in history.
The "New World Order" whilst a political term used by the likes of Barack Obama, Henry Kissinger and George Bush Senior, is a term with a more sinister meaning which at the heart involves the creation of a final socialist world government system that will full the biblical prophecy of a final world empire dictatorship that will enslave mankind into a demonic economic system called the Mark of the Beast.
However, there are multiple debates within bible prophecy circles as to who this final world empire will be and there are 5 key belief structures regarding its identity.
1. A EUROPEAN SUPER STATE
The traditional and classical view is that this final world empire will be a european super state, arising out of the European Union. Some of the world's greatest prophecy scholars such as Dave Hunt, David Breese and the late John F Walvoord and Dwight Pentecost believed that this final empire would be a Revived Roman Empire according to the prophecies of Daniel.
Interestingly, John F Walvoord in his book "Armageddon, Oil and the Middle East Crisis" alludes to not only a "European Super Power" but a "Mediterranean Power" which will closely mirror the geographical boundaries of ancient Rome which encompassed not only Europe, but also North Africa and the Middle East. It is thus interesting to see that in July 2008, French president, Nicholas Sarkozy led the inauguration of the Mediterranean Union; a new commercial union between nations of the European Union and North Africa and the Middle East.
2. THE CLUB OF ROME MODEL
The modernist viewpoint is that the final world empire will consist of 10 bio regions (known as the Club of Rome model) in that the earth has been divided into blocs where the idea is that the national sovereignty of nations will be subject to a regional union. The 10 bioregions governed by 10 political leaders would then report to a supreme world leader as alluded to in Revelation 17:12-13.
Some of these regions it is believed already have been formed such as the European Union, the South American Union, the African Union and the Arab League. Additionally there has been major controversy over a report published in 2005 called entitled "Building a North American Community" published by the Council on Foreign Relations which seemed to conceptually raise the idea of an American Union and single region currency involving the United States, Canada and Mexico. Reports even suggest that there are plans to create a centralised currency across these 3 countries called the Amero which will replace all 3 national currencies.
3. AMERICA: GUARDIAN OF THE NEW WORLD ORDER
An alternative modernist view point is that America is the final world empire. Adherents of this viewpoint believe that the traditional view which places Europe as the primary power in the last days, has significant failings. They believe that the power of Freemasonry migrated from England to the United States and that the symbology on the American Dollar bill justifies this. Much of this view is also tied in with the interpretation of Revelation 18 description of a last days end time commercial Babylon which bears the hallmarks of the United States because of its military, political and commercial strength on the world stage.
Jack Van Impe, Stan Deyo, Tim Mchyde and others have championed this view that the last days commercial Babylon is not applicable to a literal rebuilding of the ancient city in Iraq as championed by Dr Charles Dwyer or the seven hilled city of Rome as mentioned by Dave Hunt in his book "A Woman Rides the Beast", but symbolic of the world greatest super power, the United States.
4. AN ISLAMIC ECONOMIC AND MILITARY ALLIANCE
A more recent view which is enjoying a significant amount of coverage is the belief that the Antichrist and his empire will be a confederation of Islamic nations led by the long awaited Islamic Madhi. This view championed by Rodrigo Silva and Joel Richardson author of "Antichrist: Islam's Awaited Messiah" is based on reviewing Islamic prophetical teachings known as "hadith" which refer to the final coming of the Al-Madhi (a return of Jesus Christ) to overthrow the Al-Dajaal (a Syrian/Jewish Antichrist) and establish a new world Islamic order. The likes of Rodrigo and Joel believe that the final world empire will be an Islamic alliance possibly led by Iran which will use the power of oil to strangle the world economy under Islamic domination.
5. THE VATICAN AND THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH
Finally, there is the traditional medieval view that the Antichrist is linked to the Roman Catholic Church and Jesuit order. This view which was born out of the persecution of the early reformers by Rome even today has significant appeal. Malachi Martins book the "The Keys to this Blood" is one of the best documented insights into the Vatican's struggle for world supremacy and the internal state of the Roman Catholic Church with a specific split amongst high ranking clergy between those holding onto the historical teachings of the apostles and the early church fathers, and those who wish for many of the church's teachings to be changed under new liberal new age philosophies which encompass a universalist religion unification ideal.
The discussion over the Antichrist identity is even more heated with the outright bizarre of beliefs to the most sophisticated. History has seen many labelled the Antichrist such as Roman Emperor Nero, Charlemagne King of the Holy Roman Empire, Napoleon Bonaparte, Benito Mussolini, Adolf Hitler, and within in recent times, Henry Kissinger, Mikhail Gorbachev, Pope John Paul II, Saddam Hussein, Vladimir Putin, King Juan Carlos of Spain, Karl Von Habsburg of the Habsburg Dynasty, Javier Solana of the European Union, Prince Charles of Wales and more recently and controversially, Barack Obama.
Does the Bible as well as the secular New World Order publications shed any light on who the Antichrist will be? What will be his lineage? European, Muslim, Jewish, Merovingian stock etc.
The understanding and interpretation of prophecy can be be enhanced with the analysis of secular documentation such as the new age bible "The Keys of Enoch" and other heavy weight illuminati inspired epistles such as Alice Bailey's "Externalisation of the Hierarchy" and the Masonic writings of Albert Pike in "Morals and Dogma" .
Therein will lie the clues as to the nature of the coming final world empire and its heralded coming dictator.

Europe's Bad News is Good for U.S. Tourists by Steve Robinson
by: Steve Robinson
Rioting in Greece and the ominous debt crisis in several European nations may well result in additional cheap airplane tickets and cheap discount hotel rooms being offered this year. The euro has fallen almost 17 percent against the dollar in the last six months, making European travel more affordable for those spending U.S. dollars.
The euro hit a 12 month low against the dollar of $1.26 on May 13th.
Now is an ideal time to make hotel reservations, purchase plane tickets and find great shopping bargains because of the weakened euro. Potential American travelers to Europe are being advised to purchase tickets no later than mid June since that is typically when ticket prices tend to increase.
Cheap airplane tickets to Ireland and Portugal are currently great deals, being offered at below average prices.
Prices are dropping in Greece in particular and Greek destination stops are competing aggressively to attract travelers, especially to islands that appeal to tourists, such as Crete, Dodecanese, Mykonos, and Rhodes.
Hotels in Greece are currently tending to add value rather than drop their rates. Some hotels are offering a fourth night free, when guests pay for three nights, while other hotels are offering complimentary dinners or transfers. Experts forecast that Greek hotels will eventually start reducing their prices or offer even more freebies.
Many Europeans are upset that the Greeks forced the European Union to financially back their bailout needs and this in turn is expected to reduce travel to Greece from other European nations this year.

French Presidential Election: Nicolas Sarkozy's Position On ...
by: Jessica Marchal
The French presidential election drew a lot of ink this year not only in France but also abroad. The international press portrayed Mr. SARKOZY as being "the actor of a renewal for France, the carrier of changes which would not be without consequence for Europe and the rest of the World". Even if the new French president was warmly congratulated by his European peers, they are still expectant of him on important matters such as the European constitution, Turkey's European membership, the energy policy, etc...
The European constitution
After France's and the Nederland's rejection of the Constitution two years ago, the European Union Member states want to address the agenda and sign a new text by June 2009 at the latest. Nicolas Sarkozy proposes the adoption of a "simplified treaty" so that Europe can rapidly provide itself with the means to work efficiently with the 27 Member States. Nobody opposes this idea, yet deep differences exist. Great Britain, Poland and the Czech Republic are in favour of this project, only wishing for no large-scale institutional reforms. On the other hand, the 18 signatory countries of the constitution strongly desire to preserve its substance.
Energy policy
During the European Council last March, the European Union defined a set of objectives to limit greenhouse gas emissions. They now have to be translated into a set of laws. Nicolas Sarkozy is in favour of the development of renewable energies. He also wishes to renew the French nuclear fleet which partly guarantees the country's energy autonomy. Nuclear management has always been a sensitive topic within the community.
Turkey
The membership negotiations have been partially frozen since December 2006. The French president opposes Turkey's entry into the European Union, preferring to introduce a perspective of "privileged partnership" into the debate. This idea provokes strong controversy amongst the member states, some of which are in favour of Turkey's membership within the coming 10 to 15 years.
The Agriculture budget
In principle, the Common Agricultural Policy must be the object of a reshuffle by 2009. The European agricultural reform essentially depends on the Doha Cycle negotiations within the World Trade Organisation. To summarise, the emerging countries require a lowering of customs rights and the end of the subsidised agriculture in the wealthy countries. The richer countries demand the opening of an industrial and service market by emerging countries. For the moment, no middle ground has been found and negotiations are at a stand still. On that matter, the French President is strongly holding his ground and wishes for a more protective Europe "at the service of growth and employment".
In his discourse of 6 May 2007, Nicolas Sarkozy expressed his commitment to European construction and underlined his vision of a protective Europe " against the threats contained by world changes". He also called for the creation of a Mediterranean Union which would be the link between Europe and Africa.

The Paradoxes of the Free Movement of Attorneys in Europe by ...
by: Manuel Gil
The possibility of becoming a lawyer in Spain to register as "avvocato" in Italy is known by Italians as the future lawyers "via spagnola. The process is based on the approval in Spain for a diploma in foreign law schools and then have access to the exercise of the race in Italy. The reason behind this practice is to avoid Duris requirements applicable in Italy to enter the legal profession. That possibility arises from the interaction of the Spanish , Italian and European regulations as explained below:
In Spain access to the legal profession is regulated by the Statute Law (Royal Decree No 658 of June 22, 2001), where only required to become a lawyer in possession of the title of Bachelor of Laws or the approval of foreign securities that are certified by the college and a Bar. Neither bar exam nor other requirements.
However, in the framework of the European Union, Spain is an exception.Other countries require that after the completion of the degree of Master of Law, graduate courses are conducted, gained a certain experience, and enabling more than one review. This is the case in Italy, where Law graduates make a practice of 2 years after they face the dreaded "esame di Stato" which consists of written and oral evidence and takes a total of 7 months since the start until the candidate becomes definitively lawyer (Decreto Legislativo 2 febbraio 2001, n. 96). The problem arises when such review shows higher unfit for up to 50% in some cities, which are excluded from the profession until it finally exceeded.
In this context of inequality in Europe in the field of access to lawyers, Directive 98/5/EC of 16.2.98 was a small revolution for law professionals from member countries of the European Union, in establishing freedom of movement and thus opened the possibility to practice law in any other EU Member States regardless of where it has obtained the qualification as a lawyer.
This legal framework is that some candidates "avvocato" in Italy to take advantage of entering the profession in their country. It seems logical that, given the constraints imposed in Italy, is the type of the title of Laurea in giurisprudenza in Spain to choose the path for many because, once qualified as a lawyer in Spain, the only Italian candidates must be registered in the relevant professional body to practice throughout the EU. thus avoiding the difficult conditions of access to their home country imposes.
In order to help Italian students to carry out the process for approval of their titles with the earliest and most successful, there are companies specializing in this sector. Some companies offer services that go beyond mere bureaucratic and include other services such as courses in Spanish legal shipment of equipment for preparing the test in Spain and advice during the entire process. One example is e-AssistenzaLegale, a multidisciplinary team of professional Spanish and Italian offered a service model that is having very good acceptance from the Italian public, says one of its representatives in Spain.
In quantitative terms, the number of requests made by Italians to certify their titles during the year 2007 was 337, and in 2008 the figure had nearly doubled to reach 594.These figures are expected to grow significantly as the year 2011 approaches. In October of that year, the new Law 34/2006 on access to the legal profession come into force in Spain after a long legislative vacatio mixed for 5 years and access to the legal profession with the regulations of other countries the EU. Since then, may only obtain the professional title of attorney who are in possession of a graduate degree in law who passed a postgraduate specialist training and a subsequent test of professional competence (Articles 2 -- 4). This policy change also represents a major innovation for the legal profession in Spain.
Turkey Facing the Challenges of Becoming a EU Member by Adrian ...
by: Adrian Fisher
With ongoing formal accession negotiations that would see Turkey become a permanent, fully-fledged member of the European Union and European Economic Council, political and economic communications between EU members and the Southeast European Republic will reach a fever-pitch over the next decade.
Extending beyond mere diplomatic courtesies and foreign policy gestures, these developments should bring numerous widespread changes to Turkish economic and cultural life in the coming years. Rapidly increasing international trade and foreign direct investment signify the emergence of a new Turkey, with exports to the European Union and United States having exceeded US$100 Billion in 2007, and foreign investment in the country reaching US$20Billion for the first time in Turkish history.
Tourism statistics over the past twenty years have seen similarly astronomical growth, with foreign visitors set to exceed 30 million in 2010: more than triple the numbers posted as recently as 1998, and putting Turkey in the Top 10 most visited countries worldwide. Such mass influxes of European, Asian and North American tourists have seen an injection of capital to the tune of US$22 Billion into the Turkish economy by foreign nationals visiting the country during the 2009 calendar year.
In addition to traditional holidays and vacations, an increasing number of European nationals call Turkey home, or at least call it their second home. A large portion of foreign investment in the Turkish Republic has come in the property sector, often in the form of coastal cottages, vacation rental properties, seaside hotels and villas or homes in the sun for British, German, French and Dutch holidaymakers and would-be expatriates.
With the opening of such fast-paced, rapidly growing investment and tourism sectors it is no surprise that international telecoms firms have followed the foreign money currently flowing into the Turkish Republic. Mobile providers such as O2 have capitalized on a lucrative up and coming market for mobile communications in the country, and online telecoms firms have clocked on to the fact that providing cheap calls to Turkey represents a highly competitive and similarly lucrative business opportunity.
Global recession aside, the economic development currently taking place in the country shows no signs of abating, and so the Turkish summer tourist season, complete with intensive property development and marketing campaigns, should be in full swing by the time you read this.
